Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website, the Covert client and its plugins (together, "the Service") provided by CovertPlugins ("we", "us"). By logging in, buying a package or using the Service you agree to these terms and to the End User Licence Agreement shown in the client. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Covert is a third-party client add-on that provides plugins for Old School RuneScape through RuneLite. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Jagex Ltd. or RuneLite.

2. Your account

• Your account is linked to your Discord account. You are responsible for everything done with your account and licence key.
• You must be old enough to hold a Discord account where you live.
• Keep your licence key private. If you think it has been exposed, contact us.

3. Licences

• A licence gives you a personal, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for the time you have paid for, at the package level you bought.
• Each licence may be used on up to 3 PCs. You can reset your PCs from your account page, with a cooldown between resets.
• You may not share, resell, lend or publish your licence key, the client or any plugin. We monitor for sharing, and paid plugins are watermarked to the account they were issued to.
• Licence time runs continuously from purchase, whether or not you use the Service.

4. Payments and refunds

• Prices are shown on the store page and are charged through Stripe.
• Because access is delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, contact us and we will look into it.
• Time lost because of a ban or a breach of these terms is not refunded.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, modify or remove protection from the client or plugins, except where the law allows it.
• Bypass or interfere with licence checks, device limits or other security measures.
• Redistribute any part of the Service or use it to build a competing product.
• Attack, overload or misuse this website or our Discord server.

6. Game account risk

Using third-party software with Old School RuneScape may break Jagex's rules and can lead to your game account being restricted or banned. You use the Service at your own risk, and we are not responsible for any action taken against your game account.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, without refund, if you break these terms, share your licence, attempt fraud or chargebacks, or abuse the Service or its community. You can stop using the Service at any time.

8. Updates and availability

We may change, add or remove plugins and features, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time, for example after a game update. We do not guarantee that any particular plugin will stay available or work at all times.

9. Intellectual property

The client, plugins, website and branding belong to us. These terms do not give you any ownership of them.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of game accounts, items or progress. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
